Weekly Update
There's no doubt that the pressure of the Leaving Certificate is growing by day. If there's one thing this dreaded L.C has thought me it's that we must stay in the present. If I were to even let myself thing about all the topics I've to study and the very limited time I have to study them I probably wouldn't still have my head attached to my body but thankfully I've been learning to forget about tomorrow and stop pushing myself for what I haven't done and praise myself for what I have.
Something that I'm actually quite enjoying in school is Sylvia Plath. Surprising yes I know I usually hate English but one thing I look forward to is poetry. She's such an intriguing person and strangely quite inspirational. Her ability to express herself is admirable. I love how her poems have depth and double meanings. She doesn't care who she offends in her poetry she just says how she feels.
Off the topic of school, I am really excited for the weekend. Oh how I've missed shopping! I haven't splurged in quite a while and I can't wait to let myself go abit wild on the streets of Dublin. I've got my Autumn/Winter clothing money stashed away and i'm looking forward to building up this seasons wardrobe.
I know parkas aren't anything new but I've never really been into that trend up until recently. I've got to stock up on my knit scarfs and jumpers and i'm keeping my eyes peeled for the perfect pair of Chelsea boots!
I can't wait for Halloween aswell. I don't really know why because last year was a fail I stayed at home and handed out sweets but I dont know theres just something special about this year. I'm probably just looking for any excuse to forget the stress of school and plunge into the festive spirit :)
Anyways thats all from me for today,
Byeee xx
