Curious about Style

I got through many phases when it comes to fashion and finding ways to express myself. My style is continuously changing as I change as a person. My new inspirations take a hold on me and I go on crazy trying out new things.
I believe we present ourselves not only through how we talk and act but how we look and how we dress. We can let our appearance be an insecurity or we can let it be an art form. Our own masterpieces displaying our thoughts, our moods, our hearts.

Recently the whole world of Indie has caught my eye. It sparks excitement within me. I am a firm lover of culture and oddity and I feel that indie captures just that. It's unusual and quaint with a nostalgic attractiveness about it.
I was walking down Temple Bar in Dublin and came across the most interesting little shops with these bizarre but precious pieces strewn EVERYWHERE! There were hundreds of unique items, tens of tens hanging from the ceiling lain on the floor stuck on shelves. The place was overflowing with pieces, there was something in every nook and cranny. It was overcrowded but it felt like that was how it should be. There was a place for everything and strangely enough there was an overwhelming ambiance of peacefulness. I am really looking forward to visiting it again and hopefully finding places like it that will furthermore satisfy my curiosity

  1. I totally agree with you about our self-image, I'm always trying to make my own appearance more of an art form and worry less about it's respectability. Love that photo, too, that shop looks fascinating xx
