My Wednesday Shenanigans
Today I had football training so, as per usual, off I headed to Dublin. It was nice to bring my little brother along to train with us and to see his practice pay off. He was able to keep up with us in fitness and technique and im proud of him!
Afterwards we roamed around Dublin dropping in and visiting the family. I miss living close to all my cousins. Even though we live far away, when I see them its as though it was just yesterday when I saw them last and I feel right at home. I love them so much :)
On our way back to Louth. I was looking out my window watching people go about their day and it got me thinking; Fitness and Health have become somewhat of a trend lately. Whenever your shopping is it just me or does anyone else realise the sports gear section growing. More and more people are buying organic products and ive come to notice the number of smoothie places increasing and a growing interest in fresh fruit and veg markets.
Youd have to be fool not to notice the dozens of running groups gliding through the streets, young and old, everyone is getting fit. As silly as it may seem it really makes me proud. I have to bite my tongue to stop myself from praising the people in all their efforts and determination.

Let me just say how happy I am to see all the pretty bikes parading amoung the smokey buzzing traffic. I don't completely understand how the fascination with cycling came about but thank god it did. Not only are people getting great exercise but im getting great eye candy too. Instagram at the ready haha
On a final note I just wanna appreciate the deers of Phoenix Park. Ive never seen a deer up close but there was a group of them just chilling in the grass watching us train and I couldn't help but stop and take a photo. Aren't they just beautiful?
