Trust Your Instincts

In a world where pretty is what you see in a magazine, the world can be very frustrating.
People judge you by what you wear and sometimes they forget that they don't have a say in who you are or who you ought to be. Sometimes we ourselves forget that.
It's hard to live life without caring what people think of us. Its human nature wanting to be loved and accepted, but it's what we think and feel that counts, that really matters.

When you buy something buy it's because you think it's beautiful, because it reflects your personality, because it makes you happy.
Recently I bought a pair of shoes and i've gotten alot of negative feedback from people. They dont think I should wear them because they don't like them. It's not what "people are wearing".
Maybe around the world they are in style but where i'm from it's not safe to venture outside the norm. They stick to the plain and simple. Trends are followed just like any town but never anything too edgy, anything too different.

I loved these shoes so I got them. Despite what everyone thinks I think they're lovely. They make me happy and i'm sure someone somewhere else will be happy at the sight of them too.

So be proud to be unique. Be a proud outsider.
