Trinity College Open Day
Hi Guys!
I took a well earned trip down to Dublin yesterday. As usual I was avoiding my homework and studying to go think about what my future could be, great procrastinating right? So I headed off to the Trinity College Open Day and admired their beautiful architecture. It's so wealthy looking which i'm not second guessing that it is but it has this fairy tale ambiance attracted to it. Just look at it!!
Its so posh looking and the professors meet the same standard. I once attended a course there for Physics in Transition Year. There was a lecture on astrophysics by this petite old man in a tailored vintage blazor and a purple cravat with the most adorable British accent. He was seriously passionate about what he was talking about and was fascinating to listen to.
I attended as much lectures as I possible could yesterday all ranging in the Science Department apart from Pyschology which surprising bored me to death. There was this other older woman who was absolutely fascinating. She was your typical scientist because she was totally bonkers and it was fantastic! She swallowed down galaxy minstrels as she talked and used them to demonstrate the process of catalysis by throwing them at a box of ferrero rocher. She then processed to make fireworks out of gunpowder almost setting herself on fire and then took out a taser to shoot a cork out of a bottle at this guy in the audition. She too had an adorable British accent. I dunno what it is about British accents but I adore them completely.
Apart from the amazing teachers, the lectures we're interesting, they made me realised Im not really into Psychology, maybe congnitive science. Biomedical engineering bores me.. but Biochemistry and MicroBiology are both right down my lane! The points are over 500 but im aiming high, whether Trinity is my college is another story completely. Who knows what the future holds? :D but one things for sure I cant wait for college!! Ahhh lol
Goodbye.x
